About
Cathy Davis, owner-operator of Muddy Paws, has been working in pet care since 1995 and grooming professionally since 2001. Certified as an Animal Care Technician by the American Boarding Kennels Association, she maintains long-standing memberships with the California Professional Pet Groomers Association and the National Dog Groomers Association of America.
Since 2010, Muddy Paws Mobile Grooming Salon has been Cathy’s primary passion. Over the years, she has broadened her expertise to include the development of care plans for aging dogs, helping silent sufferers find relief and guiding them to realize their full potential. Cathy embraces gentle, holistic healing as a valuable addition to the lives of both her clients and their pets, and has recently opened Cathy’s Holistic Spaw as a sanctuary space to offer those services.
Whenever possible, Cathy dedicates time to grooming animals at local rescues, with recent efforts supporting the Dogwood Animal Rescue Project. When not working, she can be found cooking delightful meals for friends and family, gardening, or tending to her (ever-growing) plant collection.
